On 12 December 2024, Mr. Narupon Srisawang, Acting Director of the Office of the President, was assigned by Assistant Professor Dr. Komson Sommanawat, Vice President for Administration, to preside over the opening of the workshop on surviving an active shooter situation for the fiscal year 2024.
The event was honored by Pol.Maj. Jamnean Phundonkeng, Pol.Maj. Teeraporn Sornsaad, Pol.Cpl. Phumiphat Boontham, Pol.Cpl. Chayot Thimi, Pol.Cpl. Chakkrit Nonhuaro, and Police Officers of Samsen Police Station, who served as instructors. They provided knowledge and guidance on the "Run, Hide, Fight" strategy for active shooter situations, conducted simulation exercises, and offered advice on escape plans for such scenarios.
The workshop was organized by Building and Services Section, General Affairs Division, Office of the President, and held at the Niphanoppadol meeting room on the 2nd floor of Building 35 at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
